BLACKPOOL'S longestserving star Keith Southern has just picked up the biggest player's bonus in English football history - pounds 425,000 for winning promotion.
Pandora Bracelets
Southern - who has been with the Seasiders since they were on the brink of relegation to the bottom division - has earned the largest slice of the record pounds 5million jackpot put up by chairman Karl Oyston.
The Geordie midfielder qualifies for the top Golden Mile handshake because he played in 46 of their 49 league and play-off games.
Southern is Pandora Bracelets just ahead of centre-half Alex Baptiste (pounds 415,000), skipper Charlie Adam and left-back Stephen Crainey (both pounds 405,000) in a scheme based on rewards for minutes played.
Southern said: "The money doesn't matter. You can't buy the feeling we had on that pitch."
